Type specimen: MNHN.F.A46467, a valve (internal mould of a pedicle valve). Its type locality is Southern slope of Grand Glauzy hill, Vailhan, between Gabian and Neffiès, which is in a Berounian/Pusgillian marine sandstone in the Glauzy Formation of France.

Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Southern slope of Grand Glauzy hill, Vailhan, between Gabian and Neffiès
