Type specimen: CPI 6544, a valve (Internal mould of dorsal valve). Its type locality is Ticara Creek C1, which is in a Burrellian marine shale in the Calapuja Formation of Peru.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Ticara Creek C1
