Type specimen: GSC 131784, a shell. Its type locality is North side roadcut about 4 km due east of Chatfield along Hwy. 74, which is in a Blackriveran shallow subtidal carbonate in the Platteville Formation of Minnesota.

Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at North side roadcut about 4 km due east of Chatfield along Hwy. 74
