  • Ardynomys olseni: AMNH 20368, a mandible. Its type locality is Ergilin Dzo [AMNH], which is in an Eocene terrestrial sandstone in the Ergilin Dzo Formation of Mongolia.
  • Ardynomys russelli: PSS 40/6, a partial skull. Its type locality is Alag Tsab, which is in an Eocene terrestrial sandstone in Mongolia.
