Type specimen: IVPP V13690, a maxilla. Its type locality is XJ200203 (115.5 m horizon, bed 28), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial mudstone in the Keziletuogayi Formation of China.
Ecology: amphibious browser
Distribution: found only at XJ200203 (115.5 m horizon, bed 28)
