Type specimen: NHMW 1999z0083/0037/1, a maxilla. Its type locality is Taatsiin Gol, right side, section TGR-B, layer 1, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial mudstone in the Hsanda Gol Formation of Mongolia.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution:
• Oligocene of China (2 collections), Mongolia (17)
