Type specimen: MPEF-PV 7506, a mandible (right mandibular fragment with part of incisor and p4-m3). Its type locality is La Cantera, which is in a Rupelian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at La Cantera
