Type specimen: MAU-Pv-LI-530, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is La Invernada (Bajo de la Carpa), which is in a Santonian fluvial horizon in the Bajo de la Carpa Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at La Invernada (Bajo de la Carpa)
