Type specimen: MOZ-PV-920, a mandible (left mandible fragment with p4-m3 and incomplete incisor). Its type locality is Barda Negra 1, which is in a Colhuehuapian fluvial volcaniclastic in the Cerro Bandera Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:
