Type specimen: WAM 79.2860b, a shell. Its type locality is Merlinleigh Station, breakaway east of homestead, which is in a Lutetian shoreface sandstone in the Merlinleigh Sandstone Formation of Australia.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Eocene of Australia (4 collections)
