Sister taxa: Tinosaurus lepidus, Tinosaurus stenodon
Type specimen: Philadelphia Acad. Sci. cat. no. 9134 (median portion of right dentary with eight teeth). Its type locality is Tinosaurus pristinus type locality, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Tinosaurus pristinus type locality
