Type specimen: PU 13460, a skull (skull (lacking much of its roof) and articulated lower jaws). Its type locality is Davis Ranch, which is in a Bridgerian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone in the Wind River Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: fossorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Davis Ranch
