Type specimen: STMN48-1616, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Daohugou (STMN collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (STMN collection)
