Type specimen: USNM 527980 (partial right maxilla). Its type locality is Elk Creek (390 m), which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
Distribution: found only at Elk Creek (390 m)
