Sister taxon: Migrostylops rosella
Type specimen: IVPP V10733, a partial skull (Maxillae and mandible). Its type locality is Changle Coal Mine, which is in an Eocene terrestrial coal in the Wutu Formation of China.
Ecology: scansorial herbivore
Distribution: found only at Changle Coal Mine
