Type specimen: UFRJ-DG 498, a partial skeleton (3 caudals, chevrons & an ischium). Its type locality is Areias Farm, which is in a Berriasian/Hauterivian channel sandstone in the Rio Piranhas Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Areias Farm
