Sister taxa: Dedzetina major, Dedzetina silurica
Type specimen: IPUM 27038. Its type locality is Dom 1, 'Riu S'Acqua Frisca'. Cyclopygid Bed. 1.5 km east of Domusnovas, which is in a Kralodvorian offshore claystone in the Domusnovas Formation of Italy.
