Type specimen: GSC 35050, a valve (ventral valve). Its type locality is Virgin Arm, which is in a Darriwilian carbonate limestone in the Cobbs Arm Formation of Canada.

Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Ordovician of Canada (4: Newfoundland collections)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
