Type specimen: Dresden no. 3, a footprint. Its type locality is Riesengebirges, Hohenelbe tracksite, which is in an Artinskian/Capitanian terrestrial horizon in the Czech Republic.
Distribution: found only at Riesengebirges, Hohenelbe tracksite
