Type specimen: Museo de Historia Natural de Lima, uncatalogued, a partial shell (partial carapace and plastron). Its type locality is near Las Tres Pyramides, which is in an Oligocene marine horizon in the Pisco Formation of Peru.

Distribution: found only at near Las Tres Pyramides
