Type specimen: USNM 154925, a shell. Its type locality is Valkenburg aan de Geul, which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate limestone in the Maastricht Formation of the Netherlands.

Distribution: found only at USNM 9047, Jack Sloan Ranch
