Type specimen: UCMP 11080, a shell. Its type locality is Fourth and Hill Streets, Los Angeles, which is in a Pliocene marine claystone in the Fernando Formation of California.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Fourth and Hill Streets, Los Angeles
