Type specimen: BPBM 162590, a set of limb elements (tarsometatarsus). Its type locality is Hane Site, Area A, Layer IV, Ua Huka, which is in a Holocene terrestrial horizon in French Polynesia.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution:

• Quaternary of French Polynesia (12 collections), Pitcairn (1)

Total: 13 collections each including a single occurrence
