Type specimen: BMNHC-PH-001311, a skeleton (An almost complete skeleton with skull and jaws). Its type locality is Lamadong, Jianchang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Lamadong, Jianchang
