Type specimen: Its type locality is Alla Cascina, which is in a Ladinian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite/shale in the Meride Limestone Formation of Switzerland
Ecology: ground dwelling piscivore
Distribution: found only at Alla Cascina
