Sister taxa: Isomicraster gibbus, Isomicraster rossi
Type specimen: USNM 108391. Its type locality is USGS 13506, Rocky Comfort, which is in a Campanian carbonate chalk in the Annona Chalk Formation of Arkansas.
Ecology: slow-moving shallow infaunal deposit feeder-detritivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of United States (2: Arkansas, Texas collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
