Type specimen: IGM-4912, a mandible (right mandibular fragment with m1–m3). Its type locality is 1.94km ENE of Santiago Yolomécatl, which is in a Bartonian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Yolomécatl Formation of Mexico.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at 1.94km ENE of Santiago Yolomécatl
