Sister taxa: Centimanomys galbreathi, Centimanomys major

Type specimen: FAM 97804, a mandible (Left mandible with i1 and p4-m3). Its type locality is SW of Seaman Hills, which is in a Chadronian terrestrial horizon in the Chadron Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at SW of Seaman Hills
