Type specimen: MUSM 2925, a tooth (Right M1 or M2). Its type locality is Shapaja (TAR-21), which is in a Rupelian/Chattian floodplain sandstone in the Pozo Formation of Peru.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Shapaja (TAR-21)
