Type specimen: MUSM 2951, a tooth (Right M1). Its type locality is Shapaja (TAR-21), which is in a Rupelian/Chattian floodplain sandstone in the Pozo Formation of Peru.
Ecology: ground dwelling frugivore-herbivore

• Oligocene of Peru (3 collections)
