Type specimen: CR 4865/9, a shell. Its type locality is Vista, Horizon 2, which is in a Lutetian peritidal sandstone/siltstone in the Delmar Formation of California.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Vista, Horizon 2
