Type specimen: LACMIP 7440. Its type locality is CSUN loc. 358. On west side of Canton Canyon, which is in a Ypresian carbonate sandstone in the Juncal Formation of California.

Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal grazer

Distribution: found only at CSUN loc. 358. On west side of Canton Canyon
