Type specimen: GZG.INV.88317, a shell. Its type locality is Panoche Hills seep deposit, which is in a Maastrichtian deep-water sandstone in the Moreno Formation of California.

Ecology: facultatively mobile deep infaunal chemosymbiotic

Distribution: found only at Panoche Hills seep deposit
