Type specimen: U.S.N.M. No. 22262, a mandible (right ramus of mandible with P3 (incomplete)-M2). Its type locality is Bitter Creek, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Wasatch Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: arboreal omnivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (5: Colorado, Wyoming collections)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
