Type specimen: F:AM 31154, a partial skull (Extremely elongate horn, flattened at the fork, proximal end missing and evidence as to burr in question). Its type locality is Skyline Quarry, which is in a Barstovian terrestrial horizon in the Barstow Formation of California.

• Miocene of Canada (3: Saskatchewan collections), United States (5: California, Nevada)
