Sister taxon: Eirlysella hissingeriana

Type specimen: SNSB-BSPG 2011 X 79, a shell. Its type locality is Buckhorn Asphalt Quarry, which is in a Desmoinesian coastal mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in the Boggy Formation of Oklahoma.

Ecology: epifaunal detritivore

Distribution: found only at Buckhorn Asphalt Quarry
