Type specimen: Harvard Univ. 60218, SKIL 58305-C, coordinates 41.7x88.9. Its type locality is East-northeast of Port Augusta, which is in a Tonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite in the Skillogalee Dolomite Formation of Australia.

Ecology: stationary "photoautotroph"

Distribution: found only at East-northeast of Port Augusta
