Type specimen: Its type locality is Quinn Draw (Lower Nodular Zone), which is in an Orellan terrestrial horizon in the Brule Formation of South Dakota

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Oligocene of United States (6: Nebraska, South Dakota collections)

• Eocene of United States (1: South Dakota)

Total: 7 collections each including a single occurrence
