Sister taxa: Gregorymys curtus, Gregorymys douglassi, Gregorymys formosus, Gregorymys kayi, Gregorymys larsoni, Gregorymys mixtecorum, Gregorymys riggsi, Gregorymys veloxikua

Type specimen: TMM 40635-89, a partial skull (ariterior part of skull with associated lower jaws). Its type locality is Castolon (TMM 40635), which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial horizon in the Delaho Formation of Texas.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:
