Sister taxa: Labidolemur kayi, Labidolemur major, Labidolemur serus

Type specimen: A.M.N.H. No. 17400, a mandible (lower jaws with incisors, M1 right and left, and alveoli of remaining teeth). Its type locality is Mason Pocket, which is in a Tiffanian fissure fill shale in Colorado.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of Canada (1: Saskatchewan collection), United States (8: Colorado, North Dakota, Wyoming)

Total: 9 collections each including a single occurrence
