Type specimen: TMM 40209-215, a partial skull (incomplete skull with P3-M3 on the right maxillary; M1-3 and a fragment of P3 on the left maxillary). Its type locality is Reeves Bonebed, which is in a Chadronian terrestrial horizon in Texas.

Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore-carnivore

Distribution: found only at Reeves Bonebed
