Belongs to Apocephalus according to M. M. Solórzano-Kraemer et al. 2021
Sister taxa: Apocephalus chiapanecus, Apocephalus dominicanus, Apocephalus succineus
Type specimen: SMNS Do-369-K, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber (SMNS coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Dominican amber (SMNS coll)
