Type specimen: CMN 30810, a tooth (Rm2). Its type locality is Ellesmere Island (Lower), which is in a Wasatchian deltaic horizon in the Margaret Formation of Canada.

Ecology: amphibious piscivore-durophage

Distribution: found only at Ellesmere Island (Lower)
