Type specimens:

  • Peradectes elegans: Its type locality is Mason Pocket, which is in a Tiffanian fissure fill shale in Colorado
  • Peradectes pauli: USNM 20879, a mandible. Its type locality is Saddle, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (1: Colorado collection)

• Paleocene of Canada (3: Alberta), United States (8: Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming)
