Type specimens:

  • Loveina zephyri: Amer. Mus. No. 32517, a mandible (left lower jaw with P3-M1). Its type locality is East Fork (Wind River), which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Wind River Formation of Wyoming.
  • Tetonius barbeyi:

Ecology: arboreal insectivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (7: Colorado, Wyoming collections)

Total: 7 collections each including a single occurrence
