  • Probactrosaurus gobiensis: PIN AN SSR 2232/1. Its type locality is Maortu (lower layer), which is in a Barremian/Albian terrestrial horizon in the Dashuigou Formation of China.
  • Probactrosaurus alashanicus: PIN 2232/40-3. Its type locality is Maortu (middle layer), which is in a Barremian/Albian terrestrial horizon in the Dashuigou Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of China (2 collections)
