Sister taxa: Gryposaurus alsatei, Gryposaurus monumentensis, Gryposaurus notabilis

Type specimen: AMNH 5465, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Hillside Quarry, MOR TM-055, which is in a Santonian/Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Two Medicine Formation of Montana.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of United States (2: Montana collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
