Type specimen: LSUMGS 489:6238, a tooth. Its type locality is LSUMG 489, Talley Mountain, which is in a Campanian/Campanian channel lag conglomerate in the Aguja Formation of Texas.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Canada (10: Alberta collections), United States (42: Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Wyoming)

Total: 52 collections each including a single occurrence
