Type specimen: AMNH 6710, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Hu Khung Ulan (AMNH quarry 714), which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial siliciclastic in the On Gong Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Hu Khung Ulan (AMNH quarry 714)
