Type specimen: AMNH FARB 30735 (part of AMNH 6551), a set of postcrania (complete right ilium). Its type locality is AMNH quarry 149, Iren Dabasu, which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Iren Dabasu Formation of China.
